One of the most popular, environmentally friendly materials is stainless steel plates.  Stainless steel plates are the reason for many products that we utilize today.  One stainless steel items to pop up recently are the stainless steel water bottle, and there is ample evidence as to why. Plastic bottles are generally made of polyethylene. If left out in the sun or repeatedly used, these bottles can leak chemicals. Plastic bottles are also breeding grounds for bacteria and also an environmental nightmare. Often people use them once and throw them away. The Clean Air Council estimates that Americans throw away 2.5 million plastic bottles every hour.

Since stainless steel is hygienic – it’s often used in medical equipment and kitchen appliances and utensils – making it a logical choice for water bottles.
However, not all water bottles are created equal, not even all metal bottles. While aluminum is better than plastic because it does not leak chemicals, it does not compare to the durability of stainless steel. Stainless steel is resistant to cracks, a good feature in a water bottle because not only does it add to the life of the bottle, it prevents bacteria from getting inside, making stainless steel is a better choice for reducing the risk of water contamination. 
So how do you choose the right stainless steel water bottle?  From dollar stores to sporting goods retailers, there is a wide variety of bottles available to suit your needs and your budget, so the answer is a matter of personal taste and how you intend to use it. If you want to keep a bottle of water at your desk during the work day, for example, just look for a bottle that comfortably fits your hand and holds as much as you’d like. If you’re a cyclist, make sure the bottle you choose will fit into your bike’s bottle holder. Runners and walkers often carry a bottle with them, or sometimes wear a belt with a bottle holder – again, make sure the bottle fits if you have a belt with a holder. If you carry your bottle when you run, choose a lightweight bottle or one that’s a bit smaller.
If you take your bottle with you when you’re on the go, you may want to choose a bottle that fits into your car’s cup holder. If you put your bottle into your purse, bag or briefcase, be sure you’ve chosen a bottle with a leak-proof top. Insulated bottles will help keep your water colder longer.
Although stainless steel water bottles are sturdy enough for the dishwasher, experts recommend hand washing since the force of the dishwasher can compromise the seams on some Stainless steel hot rolled steel.
